O, I know just how loving that can be. To find something that calms the crying child is sooooo very marvelous!Nice Haiku!
Ha! That's awesome! We turned on the bathwater for ours. :)
I have a gorgeous poet for a wife. And I like that.
the hair dryer puts me to sleep too. i like the new look of your blog!
I just gave my blowdryer to DI. So, if you need another... :)
I love it! Who knew all the things that could be used to hush a sweet child ;). Thanks for visiting my blog!
I really tried that and it never worked for us...dang. At least you found something. So I remembered something the other day after I talked to you...it was true for Brooke but probably not for all babies (darn). Sleeping through the night is not so much about AGE as it is about WEIGHT...most babies can afford to go without food once they have enough stored up and that happens between 13-15 pounds...of course, some nights they think they're hungry anyway, but that's when it usually starts happening. Big babies tend to sleep better, unfortunately for us, Brooke started out pretty teensy and had a lot of catching up to do, but she started sleeping through the night (for a period of time) once she hit this weight.
lol. I think my baby would scream... for him only a certain kind of bouncing works. It's really getting my ab muscles in shape.
The poetry, the verve- it's astounding how musical that haiku really is. Not that I'd know, being babyless.
